High-Rise Paradise

Image
My sister lives in a high-rise in Mumbai, India and being a gifted graphic designer, tastefully decorates every spare inch of her apartment in her unique impeccable style. I was particular struck by how she worked her magic on her small balconies to create a lot of additional living space. I like the idea of tending to a small space, making it gorgeous and do a little bit of gardening and enjoying it whenever the weather permits. I have decided that if I ever live in a high-rise, I will create a balcony paradise for myself.

Lighting can be used to hide flaws as much as to highlight features. Proper use of lighting can make a room look a lot larger and create an expansive space.  To start I will show you a few of my favourite floor and table lamps. I love using these to bring attention to certain areas, create a cozy atmosphere and provide mood lighting in general.  Gorgeous Colors Classy Neutrals                                      Surface-Mount Lighting         Attractive lighting is a key style element of design.
